SUMMER
Summer offers you many possibilities to enjoy the most varied activities in Vierschach, Innichen and the stunning landscape of the Sexten Dolomites.
The majestic peaks of the Dolomites of Sesto, such as the Tre Cime-Drei Zinnen or other summits belonging to this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the hiking areas Monte Baranci-Haunold and Monte Elmo-Helm as well as numerous valleys in the Upper Puster Valley or in nearby East Tyrol are just perfect for all levels of hiking.
Everything is possible- from day trips, half a day trips, hiking trips in the valley or on fascinating high routes to climbing peaks or just walking.
There are also many hiking trips suitable for families or baby carriages.
Another great attraction – especially for families – is the summer toboggan run „Fun-Bob“ on the Baranci-Haunold, the landmark mountain of San Candido-Innichen.
Climbers will find numerous via ferratas in the surroundings and mountain bikers can enjoy many fantastic routes or simple paths that are suitable for both mountain and regular bikes. The best known cycling route leads from Innichen to Lienz in East Tyrol (Drauradweg). Other well-known routes go from Innichen to the small town of Bruneck or from Innichen via Toblach to Cortina d’Ampezzo.
There is also a public playground in very quiet surroundings right at the walking path from Versciaco to San Candido within 10 minutes from our house.

WINTER
In winter there are also many ways to spend your holiday time in our gorgeous mountains.
Surrounded by the impressive Sexten Dolomites, numerous skiing areas attract our guests with sunny slopes suitable for families as well as challenging pistes, entertaining toboggan runs and great snow parks for snowboarders.
Our house lies directly at the foot of the skiing area Monte Elmo-Helm which belongs – together with the skiing areas Baranci and Croda Rossa – to the Dolomites of Sesto. You will reach the valley station on foot within 5 minutes from our house.
The small but pleasant skiing area Monte Baranci-Haunold in San Candido-Innichen can be reached comfortably by a special bus for skiers.
Additionally the area of the famous Drei Zinnen disposes of 200 km of cross-country skiing tracks for all levels including beginners and experts. Your starting point is again in immediate vicinity of our house. The nearby Nordic Arena in Toblach offers FIS-certified facilities and is part of the spectacular „Tour de Ski“.
